Over the day you'll learn how to accurately cut on the bias, how to finish them beautifully with french seams and create a perfect rolled hem finish. Using the Soften Studio Clo Bias Skirt pattern, you'll be sewing a wardrobe staple; a bias cut skirt. Perfect for wearing with a cami or t-shirt in summer and tights and boots in winter. This skirt can be sewn in a variety of woven fabrics depending on the look you want - a crepe de chine will produce a drapier, slinkier skirt, or a linen will have a more relaxed drape. We can advise you on what fabrics will work best and you'll be sent through a full list of requirements before the course starts.
